A simple but effective chain-saw mill that is practical for squaring beams or for cutting flats on logs for quick construction, this can also be used for cutting boards. The 12" section of channel iron used for the main body is formed to fit a standard dressed 2 x 4 (3-3/4"). The channel has teeth in it to hold it in position so that a rocking motion can be used while cutting. It clamps to the chain-saw bar with two bolts. The inside of the "U" clamp has a serrated plate for positive grip. An integral level helps assure accurate cuts.
